iOS Making phone call with special characters such as "#"

I've searched through the forums and have seen some previous discussion about dialing with special characters, but seems nobody figure out how to do that.

basically, I am using the openURL:[ NSURL URLString😡"tel://92551237#"] but it just doesn't make the phone call.

Any idea?
