Hey all,

Now that Thunderbird has officially released V3 just wanna ask, anyone here use it with Gmail (IMAP)?

If so, just wondering how you get it to act and behave like the "real" Gmail.

Thanks

GMail is a web interface, Thunderbird is a desktop mail client. What behavior are you trying to emulate? They both send and receive emails in pretty much the same manner.

Thunderbird 3 works very well with GMail via IMAP. The one thing I despise about GMail's web interface is that horrible "discussions" crud that bundles similar threads of messages together.

I do wish that I could create rules in Thunderbird and they would pass back to GMail as filters there too. I create my filters on GMail's page and try to use T'Bird as much as possible.
