Malware problem with Real Player possibly?

    mac keeps freezing up
    anyone know what to do?

    It's not malware. Mac Virus/Malware Info

    Use Activity Monitor to see what app(s) are not responding, then force quit them. You may consider reinstalling any apps, such as RealPlayer, that may not be operating properly.

    hmm it keeps freezing up my mac and stops any virus scan i have running after awhile

    what is it?

    Did you check Activity Monitor? And why are you running a virus scan? There are no viruses in the wild that run on current Mac OS X. What antivirus software are you running?
