The PC crowd notion that he allegedly robbed the bank with a beer bottle. Either he had a beer bottle or he didn't. Sadly in this case it sounds as though he actually injured some individuals, I pray that they are Ok. We had a robber here in that bay state that had a syringe, claiming that it contained AIDS contaminated blood. It seems that we are moving away from guns and knives.

uh...."allegedly" isn't PC, its innocent until proven guilty.
the media has only some of the facts, if they flat out say he's guilty and he's proven not guilty that's libel. also goes against our most basic rights.

Not referring to guilt or innocence. The media could just simply report that a beer bottle was used in the commission of a crime. The news media is there to report the facts. As you said, it is up to a jury to decide his guilt or innocence. The article was properly written with the fact, the title to the article wasn't needed. Could have been, "Man arrested after a five car accident."
