NEW YORK — New York City's transit agency is investigating a video posted online that shows a man kissing and snuggling a live chicken aboard a subway.

Spokesman Charles Seaton said Thursday it was looking into whether the Tuesday incident on the uptown No. 6 train was a prank.

He says no passengers reported it.

The video shows the man hugging, kissing and caressing a chicken as he lays on the subway train's floor. Some passengers look on and laugh, while others seem to be hustling out of his way and into to the next car.

The video was posted on a riders blog, YouTube and was picked up by Gothamist, a local blog network.

The blogger wrote that the man seemed oblivious to his surroundings.

Seaton says only service animals and those in containers are permitted in the subway system.

I sort of agree with dukebound. Completely harmless, and this could have been a pet or something. I know a person who raises chickens, and she doesn't live on a farm or anything.


Besides, as long as he wasn't choking the chicken, I don't see the problem.
 
As long as the guy was clothed, it's not that big of a deal. Although I suppose you could make a case for sanitary issues*. What's the usual policy on animals in the subway there? *: couldn't make it any worse.
 
Lol Counterfit, I just caught the white text. I agree it couldn't make it worse, unless someone is allergic I suppose.
 
I remember hearing about some German video where the guy is well, doing it with the chicken. It's supposedly a real porno and theres a woman watching him and in German, he's saying, that's good chicken. You can actually hear the chicken cry when the guy ummm, well you know.
 
well........you wouldn't see that in the west coast...... maybe the central valley of california....😛
 
I fail to see what the fuss is about. It's not like this is the first bit of fowl play the NY subway has ever seen.

In the county where I was public defender, about a month or so ago, two drunk guys walked out of a local bar to have a cigarette. They had to go back inside and find a sober friend to confirm what they thought they saw.

Outside, in the backyard of a neighboring home, there was a circular pen set up filled with leaves. In the middle was a naked man having intercourse with his male daschund.

A friend of mine, the local vet, was called out at 4am to sieze the dog and to give it necessary treatment.

The man was obvioiusly arrested.
