Man mini shipped early!

My Mac mini was scheduled for Nov 24-27 and it’s been shipped!

I received a text msg from Apple that my ARM Mac Mini was being shipped early as well with a scheduled delivery date of 19 Nov....... I have to correct myself. Per the UPS tracking info from the UPS page my Mac Mini will be delivered 17 Nov as well.

I am interested to see what people think about it. As I have posted before I am looking at getting one to replace my 10 year old iMac. I really want to hold out for 2nd generation ARM iMac but I am not not sure the current one will last 2 to 3 years.

One of the main things I went to know about is if 8 gb of ram is enough. I think it will be enough for my needs - MS Office, browsers, iTunes and Citrix Workspace.

I think 8GB will be good enough for my needs but I want to see what others say. The 256GB hard drive will be good enough for me. I was surprised how little storage I use on my current computer.

I ordered a 16/256 mini around 6pm EST on the 10th. Originally scheduled 11/24-27. Received tracking this morning. Scheduled for 11/17 delivery.

Mine arriving on 17 Nov is a 16GB/256 model as well.

Mine is the 16GB/512, also in the UK so I am sure there will be regional variations on the timing of processing. Not to worry, would be nice to have it next week but I can wait, impatiently 🙂

My 16 GB, 1TB mac mini shipped Just after midnight this morning, and is scheduled to deliver 11/17.

Current orders quote December 16th delivery.
