If he has problems w/ a Dell, I don't see why he wouldn't be in the same shed hole if he got a Mac. He's screwed either way.

I am awear that pc's are ok for a few things but he would have downloaded crap got viruses, spyware and then come to me for help thats why a mac would have been great it's almost idiot proof
+in a few weeks he'll be magiacally transformed into a fully fleged zealot complete with a reality distortion feild
running a pc is about twice as expencive as running a mac (google it and you'll see what i mean)
