Hello,

Just got the upgrade of iLife 09, and started to play with it tonight. And its great so far!!!

We had iPhoto 08 installed on our MBP, but we used Picasa for managing our photos. Also, we used to manage our photos in a structural way ( a la Windows ) for our Photos ( ie: Pictures/Trip to Boston 08/.. ).

But now since we got iLife 09, and the new features, we plan on migrating to iPhoto 09.

What happen to the file format in iPhoto 09 when I import them?? If i import a *.png or *.jpeg, does it stay the same in the library once imported?

I just dont want to lose the ability to share my photos online ( via flickr ) or in email with my parents or friends because 95% of them uses PCs.

Can I import all my photos without worrying about that?

Thanks for the informations and your patience.

So it means that I can import all my photos, then deleted or backup my structural folder for my photos and Ill be in heaven ?
