Managing two itunes accounts from two countries?

Can it be done? Can you switch stores if you have credit cards for both countries, in only one account.

And regardless of countries, can you have two itunes accounts? Can you merge them?

I think all these need to be clarified for a lot of people beside myself.

Yes, I have two accounts, one UK, one US. For an account in another country, you don't actually need a foreign CC, all you need is an iTunes voucher for that country.
