Manually back-up ipad how?

When i got my SSD I did not want to continually back up my ipad and iphone so i disabled the auto back up feature of itunes. Now every time i connect my ipad itunes does not create a back up.

However is there a way to manually create the same back up? how do i create a back up so if i have have to restore my ipad i dont lose everything?

Yes. When your iPad is connected right click on the iPad icon in iTunes and select "backup".

Update iTunes. The old one doesn't have iPad 2 support

I have this problem too!

No backup and no option.

I think I did this when I jail broke my iPhone, but how do you turn back up back on?

I think my iTunes is updated. I'll check later.

All OSX software up to latest version. Specs in sig (its ipad 1)
