I've tried posting elsewhere but it was removed. I have 2 4,1 dual tray and 2 5,1 dual tray fully working Mac Pros. I am giving them away. Not for sale or trade. Free. Mid Missouri. If no one wants them, recycle it is. Not trying to violate any rules, just trying to give these away. Surely someone will want to continue the life of these machines.

This is completely off topic, so I probably shouldn't really reply, but assuming a good faith attempt to find some people who might want them: if you want to continue their life, why don't you sell them? They seem to be worth something, and more than it would cost you to post them, on eBay. So you get them to a new home and maybe get a few dollars out of it, hopefully enough to cover your time!

It's normal after Monterey startup the PCI and Intake fan's spin a tittle bit higher and after 8 minutes, or so, they return to idle.

Currently have OC set up to use either Mojave or Big Sur, I want to perform an OTA update from Big Sur to Monterey.
Which option applies, 1 or 2, from the main page of the guide instructions, it seems both options apply? many thanks
Recommended update options:
➊ Clean install with installer app in macOS Mojave and later, or OTA update in macOS Big Sur and later
SecureBootModel is set to Disabled
VMM flag is enabled
➋ Clean install with bootable installer, installer app in macOS Big Sur and later, or OTA update in macOS Big Sur and later
SecureBootModel is set to Default
Hybridization is used
Firmware features are updated

Help please. I'm updating from Mojave to Monterey on my Mac Pro with an RX 580. I've done the process exactly the same way as on my other identical machine.
However, when I reboot into OpenCore, the Mac Pro starts its usual process, but instead of what normally happens, the CD tray opens and stays open. While holding down the Option key, the tray does not retract and the boot picker never appears.
I've done this before on my other identical Mac Pro, which also has an RX 580 configured the same way, but on this machine the boot picker doesn't show up no matter how long I hold the Option key. If I release the key, the CD tray closes and the Mac boots normally into Mojave.
It's been a while since I last did this, so I'm probably missing a step.
I've also disabled SIP, but that didn't help.

Are you absolutely sure that this GPU even have pre-boot configuration support, also the Mac Pro have EnableGop?
Did you installed the no BootPicker GPU to the working Mac Pro? Do it first.
Btw, this is not the thread for this type of question…

Well I pulled my working RX580 out of my main working 5,1 and it does the same thing.
I guess I missed the EnableGop. The main RX580 which I tried swapping, did not work as I mentioned, but I never had to enable the GOP for some reason?
Can you steer me the right post to enableGop please, thanks, and sorry if I was in the wrong post.

This is thread for manually installed OpenCore, not OCLP or problems related to missing pre-boot configuration support.
You have something unrelated to OC or even OCLP, the most probable is that you have a non-flashed or worse, a mining modified RX-580.
So, if your GPU is not 3rd party flashed (MacVidcards and etc) and you never injected the EnableGop EFI module to the Mac Pro BootROM, you never had pre-boot configuration support with this specific Mac Pro and probably never had it complete the OCLP install procedure (which requires a working Apple BootPicker to boot from the OCLP installer) with this Mac Pro.
You have to solve the issues with pre-boot configuration support and the GPU first. Repairing the BootROM and having EnableGop is the first step.
