I want to group some e-mails I have, so my inbox isn't so cluttered. But I haven't found out how to do it manually, only automatically,by thread which isn't sufficient for me. So is there a way to manually group e-mails?

Thanks,

I don't think so, sorry. Have you thought about using folders instead? You can use e-mail filters to organise them automatically into folders, or use smart folders.

My suggestion:

1. Create one (or more) new mailboxes. I -DO NOT- use "smart mailboxes" -- just ordinary ones.

2. Manually drag the emails into the new mailboxes.

Yes, this can be a bit time-consuming if you have LOTS of old emails.
But it works.
I believe you can "command-click" on individual emails to select them, and then drag the entire group of selected objects to the new folder...
