On my iPod I can turn on manual and go to any other computer and connect and listen to whats on the iPod. On the iPhone, it wants me to link to the new library (at work right now) instead of just opening it up. Im a little confused on that, is it supposed to be different or is anyone having this same issue?

I see that. However, I am at work and not my home computer. So I have the iPhone plugged in and try to put the check mark in and it wants me to link my phone to this library and erase all the music on the phone. I can usually hit no on my iPod but there is no option on the iPhone.
