After many problems with upgrading to iOS6 I decided to install the iPhone as a new phone and don't restore to any previous backup. All my apps were then downloaded OTA from the App Store. Now I have all I need on the iPhone and it is working great. My situation now is that I have one app on iTunes that has been retired from the App Store so I cannot get it OTA into the iPhone. I have been trying to transfer it manually with no success. My iTunes is full of apps for iPad and iPod touch that I don't want to transfer. It would be a PITA to select every app I already have on my iPhone again (150 apps) in an ocean of more than 400 apps I have on iTunes so that it can sync the apps including the one that is retired from the App Store. I only need to transfer this one app! Is there an easy way to transfer this only app that does not involve syncing ALL the apps again to the iPhone? Thanks!
