mapping a shortcut to a mounted network drive

    is there any way to make a shortcut to the desktop of a mounted network drive? like when you map a drive in windows XP but its in "My computer" instead of the desktop?

    Sounds like you want to create an alias - right click on the network drive con and select "Make Alias". You can move the alias to wherever you want
