Mapping keyboard keys to game controller buttons

Hello

Anyone knows of a tool or app that will map keyboard keys to game controller buttons

I have a USB foot switch and I map the pedals to f17 - f19 using karabiner elements. What I want to do is map f17-f19 to some buttons on a switch controller (for some emulator gaming) while simultaneously using a real switch controller. This way I offload some of the work to my feet (I have a physical handicap) while still being able to use the joystick and some of the buttons on the controller
