Hi,

I have a MACBook Air 10.8.2

I would like to be able to map to a Windows 2008 R2 network share. What is the best way to do this?

Piece of cake,

in finder, click Go, then connect to server.

in the top box type SMB://servername
click connect.
Username, enter windows username with permissions to the share
Password, enter password for windows user
If you want tick remember in my keychain

A list of shares on the server is displayed, simply click on the share you want to access.
