Maps and POI?

Today I got my hands on my friends Iphone with ios6 Beta 3. I was wondering....does anyone know what apple uses for searching points of interests for their new maps app?? I tried to find the closest chase bank near me and nothing came up but I was able to find it in waze.

Its using yelp.

It's not fully synced with Yelp yet though. Maps doesn't have half the information that Yelp has.

Yes, Yelp has locations that are not in Apple Maps and vice versa.

I've noticed that the maps within the Yelp app no longer show the POI icons just Yelp's own marker.

Do you guys think that using yelp to search POI's in waze will be equivalent in apple maps. If so.... 🙁
