I've been looking around the crevices of google for a little while now and can't seem to find a definitive answer to this question:

Can the series 1 Apple watch give you turn by turn directions with a map, your location, and the route displayed on its screen?

I know the series 1 does not have gps, but can it get the location data from a paired iPhone? This would be one of the key differences for me in deciding whether to buy a series 1 or series 2 watch. Could owners of the series 1 confirm how maps works on it? Thanks, guys!
