Google Maps almost supprts Safari, in the same way that Safari almost supports web standards. As soon as KHTML becomes a standards-compliant engine, Safari will work on a lot more sites.
Wouldn't be a problem if Safari had started with Gecko engine.

KHTML is a lot less compliant than Gecko, true. The thing is that Safari has a branch of KHTML that is slowly getting better. It's still not there yet, but it's getting pretty close. I use Safari as my primary web browser, but I always check things I'm creating with Mozilla first and then Safari second.
I would love to try it out for myself, but, due to some teething compatibility issues, it doesn't yet work with WebKit-based browsers like Safari and Shiira - which is all I have right now.aethier said:works in canada too.

plus it is so much faster/easier/nicer then mapquest.
