I know the new maps has been beaten up recently.... But my maps on the iphone 5 has no idea where I am. Is there a way to reset locations or anything? Any help would be great.

I think it's just a case of using something else till it's all fixed, avoid frustration that way.

Does it not pick up any location that you are at?

Maybe look in "location services" to see if Maps is on.

According to iOS, location accuracy is improved by turning wifi on. Try opening another navigation app like MapQuest, and see if that knows your current location. It might just be Location Services having a hard time finding you.

I'm on wifi right now and the Apple Maps app knows exactly where I am. Just like Google Maps did.

I do have wifi turned on. Foursqaure couldnt locate me either. I didnt have this issue with my 4s on iOS 6.

have you tried reseting the phone? hold home button and power button till phone powers down and apple logo comes back.

it could also be an issue with the phone itself
