Maps: "Near Me" missing?

When running the public beta, Maps had that nice "near me" feature that would show categories in the search window. I am now on beta 9.1 and Maps no longer shows this. Am I missing a setting or is it not in this beta? Thanks.

Followup: does this shafting include the Maps stuff where it tells you when to leave, what the traffic is like, etc? Because i have not seen that for a while now either

Replying to my own thread... sometime very recently, the "Near Me" suggestions have returned. I am running iOS 9.1 beta 5. Vey happy to see those little bubbles again. However, I still don't get any "Good Morning" panels or Maps suggestions about traffic on the way to/from work :-(
