March 11th iPad 2: which store are you gonna go to?

Looks like im going to be the only one in line at Target. . .YaY!!!
No I'll be at Target too. Got an ipad for Christmas from there and took it back as I was waiting for the second generation. Basically because it was a gift they gave me back a giftcard for the return. Hopefully they'll have it at my local Target come launch day.
i'll call target thursday night, see what they say, then call them around noon friday to see what the deal is, if they'll hold one for me or not til 5, then i'll go around 4 or something, walk around and wait. i really don't see the target being very busy for ipad 2 friday.
Northshore mall is my usual apple store destination but I have to run an errand in NH so I figure why not save the tax? So im going to Rockingham Park mall.
Just a thought. Never get buried in debt.
Financing something as short lived as a tech device is a scary thought. Do you _ need it, or want it?
I expect lenox to be ********* slammed! My gf is wanting to go up there, but I have work at 6pm, I'm gonna try and see if best buy or another retailer will be better. Lenox is kinda far from us:/ GA needs more apple stores!
All this talk of Lenox is making me miss Atlanta... so sad that college is over.

FWIW, the BB card is 6-12-18 months same as cash.
They 'take the hit' and finance your purchase - I see nothing wrong with this.
Same with the Barclay Apple Card: zero interest over a defined timeframe.

I want a 3G so I'm going to hit an AT&T store first to see if I can score. Figure they'll only have the 3G versions, so this will probably cut potential customers at least in half. If not, Best Buy is a few doors down.

I'll be checking out the scene @ BB as I'd like the $15 in BB RZ bucks. It's not much but its more than I'd get at Apple. If they don't have inventory or seem too disorganized (sucker bet) I'll walk across the street to the Apple store. There is also an ATT store in the same mall for Plan C.
BB in Chesapeake, with a Sam's, Walmart, Target, and AT&T store near by as back up locations!

My local AT&T store (Bailey's Crossroads, VA) claims they will have both wifi and 3g versions and will sell them when they open at 10am I'll be there at 10:45 to see what the deal is. If that fails, my local BJs has a Verizon kiosk, who also confirmed they will have 3g and wifi models in stock. The person I spoke with there said they can't sell before 5pm, but if I come earlier in the day they will hold one for me. If that fails, it's Target. My last resort will be the Apple Store in Clarendon, VA - my guess is the place will be absolutely nuts, and I have no desire to go anywhere near it. So, I'm glad there are other options.

I will be at the Danbury store as well 16gb, or 32 if they run out. Hope there are not long lines.
I'll hit the Target around the corner around 1 pm and see what the prospect looks like there. If it looks like they will have the model I want I'll hang out next door at Hickory Tavern for a few hours. If the odds don't look good at Target I'll head over to BB a little before 4.
