My challenge.

Misread the notification i got yesterday morning about the International Womens Day challenge so went the longer way home on my cycle home last night then realised its actually today! 🤦‍♂️

Now today i've not cycled in due to snow being forecast later this afternoon that would have made the ride home a bit iffy so looks like i'm on the Apex Spin Bike at home this evening to complete it.

Also having an annoying little issue with getting the March badge where i need to walk 6.3 miles 14 times in the month. I used Pedometer++ app with a complication on my watch to show steps and distance. Other day that was showing over 6.3 miles but the March challenge didnt show i'd done it that day. Checked the Activity app which was showing about 1000 steps less for the day so i had to walk round the house to get past 6.3 miles! Yesterday the Activity app shows 12,929 steps whilst Pedometer++ showed just over 16,000 for some reason!

My International Women's Day challenge must have glitched - I've done 2 workouts this morning, BOTH were longer than 20 minutes each and yet the challenge hasn't unlocked for me :

I decided that I am not going to complete my March challange. I took off my Apple Watch S8 and put on my Tissot Watch. Then I got on my treadmill and did 30 minutes. I do not need an Apple Watch to be fit and Tissot watch never needs charged up, because it does not have a BATTERY. Also the Tissot watch will not be obsolete is 5-6 years!

...I'm not sure why you think this was crucial information to share with us. Good for you?

Because you all are acting like a bunch of narcissists. This thread basically says "look at me, look at me, I am doing my March challenge", so juvenile like you all never left high school. Let the flaming begin!

As opposed to "look at me, I don't need a watch to assist in my fitness, here, look at my watch that no one asked to see"?

If you don't like a thread, no one is forcing you to contribute or read it. Your post history is nothing but similar low-effort garbage.

I thought it was pretty cool that people are actually into the fitness applications of their Apple Watches and find it inspiring to share with one another. That's because it's largely purchased for that ability, unlike the one in your useless post. I like your watch, but what the heck is it doing here in a particular thread - about a fitness challenge? Sheesh, talk about narcissistic?

You just bored? Or, maybe you're joking...or both. Ha! Now that I come to think of it, that's actually kinda funny. You had me there.

Finished my challenge today

In terms of the current debate about narcism, I thought this thread wasn't really about the watch but about letting people know that they completed a fitness challenge, or motivating people to complete said challenge. I don't see how that is narcissistic. I have stopped posting pictures and snapshots though because everyone else has been doing it and it is repetitive. I just wish Apple would have more challenges and more special days. I think the womans history one might be the last one for a while, yet there is always Earth Day or 4th of July, or individual birthday challenges they can do. The watch can get kinda mundane if it's the same thing over and over.

Congrats on finishing your challenge!

I think birthday challenges would be fun to have! That’s something else for the iOS/watchOS wishlist.
