Yeah, I think so.

I don't think it'll stir any controversy though, it's pretty widely accepted. If you want to do it, do it, if not don't. Doesn't hurt anyone, or Apple.

It's just a normal windoze box I think. The 484MB of RAM tipped me off.

Nah, it's XP on my 17" iMac.

The specialized XOM driver during interim basically uses shared RAM from the 512, since it can't access the video card directly.
