How do you get the adium buddy list to look like that ? geek tools ?

No, you can do that directly in Adium itself. It's under preferences/appearances, and you can download or create your own sets. Xtras can be found here. :)
 
I really love the city I live in, so I get to look at it if I'm looking at my screen. (Or, I could glance up and on a good day be able to see the city out the window)

Just shot this a few minutes ago. This is on my Macbook Pro, the Mac Pro is still boring grey across both monitors.

I'm sure this has been asked countless times but what are people using to change system fonts and make sweet docks and all that stuff?

I tried to use CandyBar for a dock editing tool but I can't quite seem to figure it out.
