The recent update was nothing more than a spec bump. Sure, it was a really nice one, but still just a spec bump. Does that mean we won't see a redesign this fall? Will we have to wait for 2020 for a redesign?

What is it Apple could possibly put in the redesigned iMac that will making anyone buying the 2019 iMac have buyers remorse?

What Apple could do this year with the imac to be making anyone with 2017 and under, buy them?
The new redeisgn imac design, same probably with the new Apple Display, 31.5"
-10nm Intel with amd Navi graphics
-faceID, BT 5.0, standard SSD
-better inside thermals that works very well with those 10nm cpu and 7nm dGPU
-improved speakers,2019 imac still rocking 2012 speakers and drivers (imac is the last product that apple didnt update the audio since beats acquisition) also improved audio drivers as well
-better sealed ventilation at micron level for dust and humidity
All above with the starting price under 2299$....and i bet there will be a lot of people

I’ll wait for the redesign then, it would be pretty painful if I got a 2019 iMac now and then a redesigned iMac with a new display perhaps with 120hz refresh rate etc would come out a year from now. My mid 2011 27 inch iMac works just fine for now albeit somewhat slow but it’ll be fine for now.
