Garbage! All Nintendo mobile games suck and this takes the cake. Always on gas and sloppy steering... it's a joke.

The steering _is_ sloppy. Particularly on larger screens - it's next to unplayable on the larger iPad Pro. I gave it a chance on the phone and when you relax into the controls, it's enjoyable, if not a patch on the versions on Nintendo systems. And heck, it's still better than Mario Kart: Super Circuit on Game Boy Advance (my least favourite of all of 'em).

I got a push notification from it last night saying something like “people all over the world were waiting for me to join” which Im pretty sure is a lie because there’s no multiplayer yet. It’s all AI bots

There is a friend list element, so there are plans for social features. You get rewards for adding friends but that's it right now.

Damn, Super Circuit is one of my favorites of the series. Spent so many hours on it as a kid.

I‘m liking Mario Kart Tour so far, but I wish there was an option for a one-time purchase like Super Mario Run.

Yeah, well the push notification strongly implied I could race people all over the world... sooo

Wow is never fails to surprise me at how negative people are - they must really have some issues in their lives because it ain’t about a little iPhone game! I personally love this game, never once used an in app purchase and still playing since in launched I love it, you can happily play with game without spending more on it. A great release in my opinion.
I agree! It's a superb game. I have spent £0 so far and played it every day since release. I have got many extra characters, cars, etc.

When you race, it seems to be real users' names and badges, but given how fast it is to fill a race and how entirely lag free it all is, I assume smoke and mirrors. Still, if the DS and Wii could handle it, the current mobile device more than definitely can.

Take it with a grain of salt - I _loved_ Double Dash!! (four player was a hoot if you had enough bodies).

That’s your opinion. I highly enjoyed Super Mario Run and hope they make a sequel. People that complained about that game were just too cheap to pay up the $10 it cost.

I happily paid $10 for Super Mario Run on the launch date and I would have paid $20.

What I will not pay is a $5 monthly subscription for Super Mario Kart Tour, plus $20 for a package to unlock Mario and get some other stuff, and keep paying endlessly to not get stuck in the game. It is a shame that even the mighty Nintendo succumbed to the freemium model.

I sincerely hope that the Apple Arcade, Google Play Pass, and other similar subscription services, destroy the evil freemium model.
