I couldn't agree more, and I think this goes for colleges as well. My school had a writing lab with thirteen-year old 7200's. While they were certainly more usable than any 13-year-old PC, they were a bit flukey, especially running Office, and made a bad impression upon all of the students. If solleges and universities could afford snappy new (old) iMacs (or even new new iMacs) running OS X, Apple would have the opportunity to impress a heck of a lot of students who otherwise might not ever be exposed to the platform, and eventually win some new converts.
