Thanks for the review. I was debating between this case and the Apple case. I was planning on buying Apple's case because of it's slim design but I didn't want to wait 3-4 weeks to protect my iPad when I take it to work everyday. So, I decided to buy the Marware eco vue which will be here next week.

On their website it said if you placed your order after May 9th it's supposed to ship today but I haven't recieved an email either, not even an order confirmation email.
Edit: Just checked again and it says Now Shipping.
Their CS is pretty good about notifying about stock shortages and responding to queries. However, their shipping dept. does not update their status page nor send shipment notifications.
I got an email from their CS that they might get stock on May 11th (I ordered on May 3rd and got the email on May 6th). He was apologetic and said they'd throw in a screen protector for my wait. I kept checking the shipment status and received no ship notice. On the 13th, my case (and screen protector) was waiting for me when I got home.
BTW, I am happy with the case.

Well I gave up and decided to order the PDair Leather Case with the magnet closure. DetroitBORG's review on Youtube is what convinced me to get that case instead.
I'll give them till next week, if i dont hear anything or get the case, by then, I'll cancel and maybe order the PDair case as well. I'm impatient with this stuff lol
Hahaha, they should probably work out their shipping confirmation email issues. I guess I'll be using two cases since the PDair shipped yesterday.
My biggest concern was the open edges, and sure enough, I have a dented / broken / unusable iPad 3G 64gb now. Thanks Marware...

You realize the problem is not with the case but with the user, right?
It causes interference in Google maps for me. It can locate you but the compass gives a message that it cant calibrate. Are you using a GPS app? I'm wondering if it interferes with one of those. I can confirm that it interferes with the app Star Walk too. I'm kind of upset I got this case now.

I received my eco-vue case yesterday and really like it. But it definitely messes with the compass. I have been trying to figure out and think of a way to fix this all day... a large sheet of iron should shield the magnet .. haha
Alright, after reading/watching a bunch of reviews, I ordered one off of Marware's site today. One weird thing though... For some reason when I went to check my order status using the link emailed to me, it worked once. Now when I try, it asks me to log in using an email that I provided, except that I never provided an email (I paid with PayPal). I tried using my PayPal email, and it said no account exists for that email. I then created an account using the PayPal email, and it says I have never made any orders on that account.
I'm guessing that it won't really be a problem (because the confirmation email has my correct billing/shipping address, an order number, and the order is paid for with PayPal). The only downside is that I can't track the shipment, right?
Looking forward to getting the case! Any idea on an ETA? I live in Miami, FL. Where do they usually ship out of? I do see (thankfully) that they are currently in-stock of the Eco Vue cases.

Same thing happened to me. After I ordered it I got an email confirmation that told me to log in to check status. Only I had no log in.
I emailed customer support about my login problem and never heard back. Although they did mail one out as soon as they got them in. I had no way to track it or know until I called them on the phone.
It took seven days to get it from FL to CA. I think they are just totally overwhelmed by the orders.

Wait a second, they shipped FROM Florida to California? Do you live in California? If you do, I guess I'll get mine super fast (FL to FL haha)!
EDIT: I just looked, and apparently they're based in Hollywood, FL. They're about 20 miles away from me! Good news for shipping I guess, even though 1, I can't track so I'll have to wait and see, and 2, the next business day is Monday 5/24.
It took only two days for me to NorCal. They sent it USPS Priority Mail. Yes d00m42, it should be there real quick. Their ship status system is not too good but they do ship fast!
