I've got an idea to make a bracelet with a Scrabble piece. I want the band to be braided leather, but I'm confused as to how to attach the scrabble piece to the band. I don't like the idea of it hanging like a charm... i'd like the piece to be incorporated into the band.

Any ideas?

Use wire interwoven with the band, or something that will fit through a drilled hole.

Gotta be honest, "wow, he's masculine" wouldn't be the first thing I thought of seeing someone with a scrabble bracelet. 🙂

You can use a thin wire 18g and wrap the piece in the wire decoratively and either make a metal loop to feed the band through, or wrap the wire around the band and the piece at the same time.

Unless it had the same words as on the wallet in Pulp Fiction!

If you wrap wire across the 4 corners I think it would hold. Maybe use a router to engrave a small canal on the top and bottom or something also?

15 with triple word score

Make the bracelet look like a little belt, with the scrabble piece perhaps inside a metal retainer to represent a 'buckle'?
