Does anyone have experience playing Mass Effect 2 (or gaming in general) on a 15" unobody 2008 MBP?

    My specs are: 2.4ghz C2D, 250GB HDD, 2GB DDR3 ram and a 9600GT 256mb.

Works well with medium and low settings. Definitely worth buying it!

Do Medium settings look as good as the console version? Im guessing yes? Maybe I should put some more ram in there and try. Because I already know the 9600 is an awesome gfx card

i doubt it would look as good as the console version
since the 9600 is quite outdated

It's looks great but not as great as it plays on the console, the game is optimized for consoles and not optimized for the 9600M GT.

The biggest limit will be the GPU. The 9600 is pretty dated by today's standards. Your CPU will be absolutely fine.
