Just took a moment to check UK prices of the new Ti watches and didn't get very far!

Remember when we had video calling since like forever and the iPhone didn't. Then one year Apple introduced this new magical feature. It was going to change how people communicate forever. They had created.. video calling. I mean FaceTime! You'd never seen anything like it. :D

Took me years to get over that. I love Apple but they're so slimy. Like a hilarious uncle that you see at Christmas but he looks at you a bit wrong and you know you'd not want left alone with him. But he's the funniest and everything's better in a superficial way when he's around.

That's how I see Apple.

Anyway, bizarre tangent over. I genuinely think Apple have outdone FaceTime, because you have never seen a watch like this before. You can always see the time on your watch face. :D

I think they’re referring to the amalgamation of features with that statement. The screenshot captures the slew of features out of context to fit the above narrative :p

I won’t go into the list of new features because they’re available on Apple’s site and have more than enough coverage

Oh yes it gets better as you scroll down the list!

Customisable straps!

Aluminium, stainless steel, titanium and ceramic!

Apps!

:D

Under-screen ambient light sensor for brightness adjustment
Custom designed processor
Health data
Compass and GPS
All day battery life with a screen that’s constantly on and engineered for a variable refresh rate (which is impressive from an engineering perspective) and offers all of the features, all day
Etc

Sorry fell asleep there. Where was the interesting bit? :D

The only interesting this about this update is the always on screen. That's why it's got top billing ;)

Same as the FaceTime embarrassment. Apple takes your toys from you, then they give it back and make it sounds like they invented the toy :D

Don't be so serious guys, just taking the piss. But please have a little awareness. We're all part of a really sh*tty upgrade loop.

What on earth is that blog. Who would read something written by a 12 year old! :D

But yes I had a quick skim, it seems to say that Wear OS, which is Google's wearable platform, has had always-on displays for years, something the 'blogger' seems to have liked about Wear OS wearables.

I'm sure he's right about the rest, doubt Wear OS is much good for anything else, wouldn't know all my stuff is Apple.

I just found the appreciation from the other side interesting. Maybe it’s someone in our camp who acts like a 12 years old, throwing toys out of a pram because of one photo taken out of context? :D, since he put his thought very well I might say. Think this bits are very interesting
Imagine for a moment that Apple expanded Apple Watch support to Android. It won't, but just think about what would happen. Most likely, that would be the end for Wear OS overnight.
