Massive data usage

Recently i noticed a massive amount of data usage on my iphone 5. I reset the data counter under my cellular setting and it says about 39 mb. But on my at&t app it jumped up about 500 mbs in two days. Today i shut my data off completely and it still went up by 200. I restarted my phone but i have no idea what to do now.

The cellular data screen should show which apps/services are using the data. Also did you turn off cellular data and leave wifi on?
