Won't turn on

Had my Iphone 5, the second day out of the box with about 60% battery and it wouldn't turn on/wake up. Tried charging it more, then holding power and home button but nothing. Did this several times. Plugged it into my Macbook. iTunes recognized it but stated the iphone was in recovery mode and needed to restore it. I tried that 3 times but it would not finish the restore and always ended with an error message.

Interference sound

Received two 16gb, one of them is nearly perfect (it can have some glitch I haven't discovered yet) but the other unit's receiver has a crackling/interference sound so you can't hear well the person talking in a call.

You know this how exactly?
Please share, and document your statement; so I know I am not dealing with 2 hardware defective iPhone 5's. *With and iPhone 4S in the house on iOS6 and twice the speed on the same network, and 2.4GHZ band.

kthx

Like any other WiFi enabled device IP5 uses already available chip(it may be combined with cell network functionality). So unless there is a soldering issue, it is never a hardware issue. These chips are capable of much wider functionality than any phone manufacturer's requirement. It cannot be antenna issue because of the small range (compared to cell network). It could be calibration or interference issues which Apple can easily fix.

There are bigger issues with IP5 and iOS6 and WiFi is not one those.

so what's the deal with the purple issue on the camera?

Just noticed this on mine. Is it hardware or software?
I really don't want to have to do an exchange, especially since I just installed my BodyGuardz on the back.

Horrible battery life. I am thinking of returning my iPhone 5 because of it.
Slow WIFI is another killer.

:(
