Matched songs don't show up on my iPhone

When I used to match a song using iTunes on my computer, it would instantly appear in my music library on my iPhone. Now, when I match a song on iTunes it doesn't show up in my library on my iPhone. Strange thing is, when I search for it using spotlight on my phone, the song appears and I can play it. Does anybody have an idea of why the song is on my device, but does not show up in the music app?
