Hello,

I want to get a new keyboard for my MacPro. I've got the previous generation, the one with the "sticky" keys.

I first thought I wanted an "old-school" keyboard and almost bought the Matias Tactile 2 (now discontinued, #3 should be out soon). But I tried the Mac's "chicklet" keyboard and I liked more than I thought I would (also the basic one without the number pad is a great option).

Anybody tried out the Matias Tactile?
I thought about the Mac keyboard also because if I get a Mac portable I don't have to adjust between two types of keyboards. But then I'm afraid Mac might overhaul their keyboards also...any rumors about that....?

I love the chicklet keyboard. Other keyboards now feel like crap to me.

The "updates" that Apple may do are… changing the keys from white to black.
 I know.
Perhaps backlighting, but how often are you using your computer in the dark?

About 50% of the time.
