Matte black anodizing

My matte black sides, top, and bottom are darker then back of phone, you can actually see the almost perfect line at right angle looks like a bad anodizing job, during day outside looks like a attena band running down the side

i notice the sim card tray has a slightly different black on mine, a bit more purple looking.

I can see what you mean, with how anodising works I'm not sure how that's possible, more likely that they missed a stage of finishing the metal on that area prior to anodising and you're just seeing the subtle change in the surface.

It's not right but it's not going to effect the use, so depends if it's going to bother you. Slap it in a case and forget about it is probably the easiest solution.

Yeah, it looks more like a rough tool mark from the CNC.
