Matte black iPhone 7+ or silver HELP!?

So I've never had a black face iPhone before only white ones and I really want the matte black iPhone 7+, currently own a gold iPhone 6s+.

I only rock clear cases and I'm wondering since the matte black is so dark it would be hard to see it through a clear case like I can with my gold iPhone. Anyone with a matte black can give me there expirneces.

I honestly might just switch my gold 6s+ for a space grey since I have t mobile Jump on demand....

What should I do?🙂 and any pics of your matte black iPhones would be appreciated.

Matte black should easily be visible through your clear case. It's actually not that black, it's more of a muted black. It stands out nicely through clear cases from my experiences.

I'd get the matte black. But the silver is nice to. I just don't really like the white front.

I switched from space gray to matte black for the whatever current gen phone is called now is it 7+? I have it in a transparent smoke black case. I can see that the phone is black i don't think a clear case is going to make much of a difference colorwise.

The red looks incredibly tacky imo. The Touch ID ring also doesn't match....

Agree with the above comment. Get matte black and otterbox symmetry clear case, it would look awesome.

Neither matte nor silver. Red or product red is the best color of all offered colors. It is not tacky, otherwise Apple did not produce it. The red color is a sexy color and eye catching. Touch ID matches with the white bezel and silver ring match with silver or stainless steel apple logo. It is a perfect one. Red iPhone is the most beautiful iPhone of all other colors like red car.

Not a fan of the white face as the screen stands out. I love the black face as the screen blends in with the black face, makes the phone look sleek af.

I'm with you, I was conflicted when I got my 7 Plus. In the end I ended up going with the matte black iPhone but I feel like next time I will be going back to silver. The plus side is that the privacy screen protector looks excellent on a black faced device since it is already dark!
