Hello,

Not sure if anyone posted this question yet...!

Has anyone experienced problem with Mac mail and Exchange 2010 on Maverick?

This is my issue with Maverick vs. Mountain Lion:

1. Mac OSX 10.9 (aka Maverick)

a. Internal network - I was able to send/receive email
b. External network (on Cisco VPN) - I was able to send/receive email

c. External network (non Cisco VPN) - I am not able to send/receive email

------

2. Mac OSX 10.8.5 (aka Mountain Lion)

a. Internal network - I was able to send/receive email
b. External network (on Cisco VPN) - I was able to send/receive email

c. External network (non Cisco VPN) - I was able to send/receive email

Thanks,

Thomas

This is a brand new install.... Machine used for this test...

Macbook Air 13" i7 8GB and 256GB SSD.

1. Mac mail on Maverick

2. Mac mail on Mountain Lion

Software installed:

a. Microsoft Office for Mac 2011
b. VMware Fusion 6
c. Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.4 (latest release)

Mac mail will not sync with Exchange 2010 from home network unless I use Cisco Anyconnect client on Maverick 10.9

What software are you using for the VPN outside the network?

This is interesting....

1. If the machine is an upgrade from Mountain Lion to Maverick, Mac mail will experience issue syncing with Exchange 2010 from home network.

2. If the machine is not an upgrade but rather a clean install of Maverick, Mac mail works fine from home network.

I did this last night performing a clean install of Maverick and configured Mac mail to sync with Exchange 2010. So far, it is working fine with the new install.

Company Exchange server. This works perfectly on 10.8.5 but on 10.9 -
