Mavericks 10.9.2 - GoT VPN Issues - Damn Raccon

However, I am running Mavericks (10.9.2) so the issue apparently Apple has not resolved...no clear cut answer either. I am very angry for having spent significant amount of time trying to resolve VPN issue that was supposedly patched with 10.9.1 version.



Please can someone provide a clear working solution? I don't have that file that most folks have removed. I am using VPN L2TP over IPsec as a client on my MacBook Pro.

Well, I found Apple's fix here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1716 However, it requires 10.9.1 and I have 10.9.2. So did anyone else got caught is the same predicament as I and what was dome to resolve?
