I have already searched the forum, but since the threads I found were written some months ago and maybe there have been some changes I open this one.

Which program (free or to buy) is most recommendable for downloading youtube-videos in the best possible quality?

I would like to know how to do this, I would hate having to change it to 1080 or 720 every time.

Really? Call me an idiot, but I doubt that YouTube make it that easy. I'm guessing all you'll see is code for the player and a ref number for the video.

I guess I could spend 5 seconds checking that, but I'm too lazy, sorry. ;-)

Where is that? Are you using an ancient version of Safari?

If you are frequently downloading videos it would be a good idea to get an app or a browser extension. Or else, you can use a website like http://www.clipconverter.cc
