Mavericks auto update apps?

😕I have an app update sitting App Store for more than one day. In preference/app store, I have all options checked including "install app updates". I wonder whether I am being impatient, or there is some bug in this. Have anybody had auto update work?

Edit: to answer myself. The app I talked about updated itself days after when the badge first appeared on App Store. I have no idea what triggered it and how long the delay is supposed to be... I guess nobody really cares about these anyway.

OSX 10.9 software update not working, ilife, iWork

did clean install OSX 10.9 GM - latest 13A603

installed ilife 11 and iWork 09 (from external drive)
it won't detect any software updates for it!
there is are lot of updates, but it's not detected ?!

This gm is definitely a buggy one. Like I said, mine auto updated days after the detection. I have forgot how the update was detected.

Mine has been auto-updating fine if you want to call it that. I get a notification asking me if I want to do it now, later or tonight. I think that notification is only for system updates though. Everything else just seems to do it.

was it updating system stuff or also for applications as ilife / iWork ?
