After installing Mavericks on two Macs on the same network, one Mac's Finder locks up when trying to access a particular drive on the other networked Mac.

The finder has a spinning pinwheel that can only be resolved by a full power down restart.

    The Console log reads:
    10/25/13 10:52:41.717 PM mds[52] (Normal) Volume: volume:0x7fe993073000 ********** Bootstrapped Creating a default store:1 SpotLoc: (null) SpotVerLoc: (null) occlude:0 /Volumes/Andy's i5

    Every 60 seconds this repeats.

Any ideas on how to resolve? This seems to be related to a lot of the smb issues being seen with Maverics.

This issue was resolved by turning off "Share files and folders using smb" in the options menu under "file sharing" in the system preferences.

I have the same problem every few minutes (approx 30 mins) I get see the following error message

Network delay is not specified! Defaulting to 0x384

And as a side effect my DMG images that I mount over NAS get's disconnected. I have tried disabling the file/share (smb) and have also tried disabling sleep (Energy Saving) or putting disk to sleep for my machine (mac mini).
