Max band width for 38mm watch?

Hi all,

Could someone please tell me what the band size is for the 38mm watch, I'm thinking of getting a new strap when my 38mm Classic buckle arrives. I see 22mm mentioned a lot, but is that just for the 42mm watch?

I have the same watch and measured the band at 21mm with a tape measure. Looked at watch bands in a watch store and measure the band against the chart and it is 22mm.

Based the design, there's a 20.8mm gap between the posts before they curve. So you can fit a true 20 or 21mm band on it, or a "22mm" band if it's in line with traditional sizing, which runs slightly small. I think a 20mm band looks a bit more proper on a 38mm watch, but it's all about personal preference. For reference, the sport band is 20mm wide at its thinnest point.
