Hello people,

I've read around the forum and on the internet - but I can't get an answer to my question.

I run on a rMPB - geforce gt 750 m and I only have HDMI output through my GPU.

What is the max hz I can get via hdmi?

I was thinking about buying a 144hz screen with 1ms.. So the resolution would probably be 1920x1080.. :)
At 4K resolutions, HDMI can't do 60Hz. mDP can.

Not sure whether it can to 120 Hz at other resolutions or not.

You can't do 144hz on HDMI, at least not on the version included in the rMBP. Are the miniDP outputs broken on your machine? Displayport will work perfectly.
