Some water was spilled on my macbook keyboard, and therefore potentially inside. Apple stores are currently closed, and I am trying to get a screwdriver ordered so I can open it up. I have tried the rice approach for the last day and a half, and understand this may not remove all bulk water. Heat is an enemy of batteries and electronics, but also helps promote evaporation.

Does anyone know what the maximum design temperatures are for a 2017 12" macbook?

my cup of water tipped and spilled onto the keyboard. The laptop cut power. I quickly unscrewed it and angled it. water was coming out of the bottom of trackpad. I think I used a blowdryer on it for a bit. Then it worked fine no issues for months.

Definitely open her up ASAP and dry it outside (we have 100 degree weather today) and it's dry and hot so anything will dry up...
