max x1600 overclock with atitool

So is there really no way to change the GPU with out using windows?

I just really don't want to buy windows. I know I could be playing some better games and what not, but I don't know I just don't feel like doing all that boot camp and everything

Thanks, that`s the information I was looking for. I`m getting ready to buy a MBP and want the fastest gpu default clok. So I didnt know would I go with 15" 2.33 or 17" model. Money is of course an issue, but if I get faster gpu and bigger screen I think the 17" is for me!
I know I can buy 15" and do some overcloking to 470/470 or even more but after my graphic card died few days ago in my desktop comuter, after six months of "tuning-up", I don`t think I have courage/money to do any more overcloking, especialy with small, costly, high-end macbook pro. I "don`t care" so much for desktop, just pull it out and stick in a new one, 5 min job, but in a laptop - hehehe, it`s the end of a story (unless you still have a warranty) 😉

do clock speeds in windows also reflect clock speeds in mac?

I was just curious whether overclocking in windows and then switching back into mac osx if the overclock holds or if it goes back to default in mac os x. Since graphiccelerator and aticelerator do not work I can not see if my new clock speed in windows 475/502 (to be safe) transfers to mac, does anyone know?
