Hi, been lurking here for a while but this is my first post.

Not seen anyone mention this before, but does it strike anyone as odd that the top-end 2012 i7 3.4Ghz iMac scores LESS than a maxed 2011 3.4Ghz iMac in a 64-bit Geekbench test?

Is this just because it's an early benchmark?

Cheers

The 21" imac 2012 matches that in a 32 bit bench, so I wouldn't worry just yet. That 27" bench has been on there for a long time. Not sure what was going on there. Wait till the production models start benching.
