I have lots of questions. on the 2015, when you press option+shift+volume it adjusts it in smaller increments, is that still possible on the 2016?
is there any touch bar integration in google chrome?
I cant think of any more questions right now, but i am sure i wil
EDIT: can you screen shot the about this mac screens?

Negative on small incrementing the volume.

I do not use Chrome sorry.

Wow! they didn't have to make the trackpad that big. Its a very odd design choice when you compare the spacing between the keys.

Infact a small separation between the touch bar and keyboard would have helped in making sure people do not accidentally press the bar when hitting the keys closest to it.

Is the screen really that much brighter and better? My wife's iPhone 7+ screen has me underwhelmed when compared to my 6s+. the brightness difference is hardly noticeable.

I asked around few days ago, but nobody answered, so I'll ask you: could you find some time to run the RAM benchmark from http://www.memtest86.com? I'd like to know whether the low RAM Geekbenchmark scores of these new machines are a Geekbench bug or whether there is indeed something fishy with that LPDDR3.

I'm also curious if the brightness is noticeable. I'm on a new maxed out 15" 2016 and I'm pretty underwhelmed with the brightness. It doesn't really even feel bright enough until it reaches 75%.

Here is a CPU comparison.

My new one lost :(

Courtesy of Apple going with the cheaper Skylake without Iris Pro, the Haswell generations had a L4 edram cache that helped the cpu deal with slower memory. The problem is more acute with skylake as Intel optimized it for DDR4 and it's now being choked with DDR3 so Apple could make it thinner and reduce battery capacity by 20%.

Blackmagic is not a good tool to test these latest SSDs as it's not designed to test anything over 2Gbps.
Wouldn't matter for write speeds neither of them are maxing at 2k.

Surprised new SSD did not hit 2k write.
[doublepost=1479318522][/doublepost]Speaker on Late-16 are a drastic improvement. However still laptop speakers.

There was someone from another thread whose machine had Iris Pro 580 as the iGPU on a 2.6. Can you confirm your iGPU model with a screenshot please?

Looks like you have the silver? Is it little more silver/lighter in it's color compared to the 2015? The 2015 looks little more grayish on your pictures.

Is there a noticeable performance difference when using the machines in real-world tests?
